I don't mind. It doesn't change my age keeping it a secret. I'm 52, 53 this August.

My Mom tells me she doesn't understand how her body isn't 25 because he mind still is! :D

Ya know, with the recent influx of the olderish people around here, I'm starting to feel downright young (32 in a couple of weeks)!

Well except for the fact that I feel pretty worn out doing my little space camp with 9 5-6th graders, I feel pretty young too. I think your mom is right anyway. I always say, "YOu don't really get older, it just gets harder to get up off the floor."

I am watching lots of comedy central lately so I can see iPhone ads instead of ads for prostate issues and weak bladders. ;-)

The iPhone looks cool though, unlike Advar. (or is that for asthma?)
Though I'm guessing it will sell for about $600 or so. :-}

As for youtube, I have to stay away during the week. It's addictive.

LOL!

I might do a bit better with an extra job for over the summer-- maybe $450 out of my price range. I'm going to bet that somehow (maybe stolen) some of my h.s. students next year are going to have it. They may be in the lower half of the income range for the country but they never let a thing like that ruin their cool. One kid told me, "I can't afford pencils" but brought a nice new cell phone everyday.

Whew - I'm so glad I didn't see this age thread... I'd hate to have to respond to it.

OK - In Saturn years, I'm not even 2 yet! :)

Age

Post by Conan »

Rich has me beat too! I'm 51 but I always say, it doesn't matter how old you are as long as you refuse to act your age!! I feel younger every time I come home from Space Camp or Aviation Challenge.

I'm northeast of Banff (actually about a 2.25 hour drive north of Calgary depending on how much you speed). We used to go camping in Banff all the time when we were younger but I haven't been there in awhile.

Well all you Albertans out there (how is that anyway, a conspiracy of the Canadian government??) But we are in the same time zone. But, it's a mite warmer here right now.

We traveled all over Canada when I was a kid, but as an adult I only was up over the Niagra Falls. The funny thing is the border guy asked "What's your purpose in being in Canada?" I am glad he asked the driver as I was stymied. The answer was actually to get to the other side as we were going to upstate NY. :-)
