Is anyone submitting videos to this?
My best mate from ASA 99 submitted one. I think it is pretty good. If she wins she said she will take me along! Yay! (That is, IF she wins, and IF they will let her bring anon-American guest.)

So... I got a phone call on Sunday afternoon from a very hysterical best friend announcing to me that she was selected as one of the nine finalists!! This would be better than winning a multi-million dollar lottery!
Now, we need all the help we can get to win the contest, so I hope all of you will visit http://contest.nasa.gov from Wednesday onwards and vote for Kayla LaFrance so I can live my life-long dream of watching a shuttle launch.
Please vote, and vote often!! Please!! (Tell all of your friends, coworkers, family, etc to vote for Kayla LaFrance too! :D:D:D:D
PS - The voting doesn't start until Wednesday, but I will remind you then!

Good luck, hope she wins... Shuttle launches are pretty cool. I got lucky and live in Florida... also went to Space Camp Florida when a shuttle went off and of course we all watched from there. It's pretty cool. Hope you guys get to go!

So... the voting was supposed to start at 8 AM EST today, but in true NASA tradition, it has been delayed with no explanation. Rather, no delay has been announced, but the website hasn't changed since Monday. Grr... I'll let you know when the voting really opens so you can all vote for me!

Not too be the annoying spammer on a posathone......
BUT
Jennifer and I are down to 12.5 hours till the end of the voting.....
Today is the day that we would REALLY REALLY apperciate some massive flooding of thy votes for us.
so if your siting there all bored and all. try a game of Votes Away, see how many browser windows you can fit on your screen and still be able to vote at a fast speed.... my record is 4 but i got a big screen... 2 and 3 seem to be pretty easy for anyone though... its a great way to kill the bored bug.... its easy to get 100 votes in in about 10 mins.. hehehe
Ill get off my soapbox and shut up now... must go back to voting myself.
thanks
Kayla
