That was the only good thing about taking finals this semester. I love senior exemption :D

I can't believe you have to wait until after christmas break! I've never heard of that before...I have a hard enough time remembering everything from the beginning of the semister...i couldn't wait until after the break!

One year we had our exams after Christmas Break, but that was only because the roads were icy during exam week so the schools had to close. It worked out okay though.... they let us have open book exams!

My old high school thought that would be a great idea once. We all complained so much that most of the teachers took the exams into their own hands and gave them to us before break. The results from the remaining exams were enough that the school decided that from that point on it would go back to the original exams before break schedule. In theory the having break to study idea was good but nobody had time or the energy to do it. I would rather cram for a week and take the exams and relax than sit and worry about the tests for three weeks and then take them.

Our high school finals always take place at the end of january. For grade 12 everyone in the province writes the same test at the same time.

I wouldnt' be able to do that.... Everything that I learned last semester has already left my brain. I would fail if I didn't have exams until the end of January.

We often used the second week of Christmas break as our revision time. It wasn't so much fun, but it is a provincial standard, so you learn to live with it. Universities still write exams before Christmas though, which is nice. I miss the break though, as we only get a week off at work!
