Photo Hunt

Good Day:

I did this with a bunch of my friends before, and it was fun... so I thought I would try it on here. It is similar to a photo scavenger hunt, but it's a hunt through pictures you already have. Someone requests a photo of something (within reason), and if someone else has it, they post it... They don't have to be about Space Camp, but it would be nice to keep the topic of that and AC here since it is a Space Camp/AC website...

Requests:
1. The mess hall at Space Camp.
2. AC Centrifuge
3. Lurch!
4. A unique group/team photo

Note:
If you are going to camp soon and you see some requests here that haven't been met, then maybe you could take it upon yourself to try and get some of those pictures while you are there. It could be a type of scavenger hunt if you wish - so be creative!

why, why didn't i take any pics of the mess hall? this so tempts me to, once all the craziness of the next say, two weeks, is over, to go over to huntsville one weekend and get one.

i remember taking a photo in the cafeteria, but I don't remember it ever being developed, so... yeah.

OH. Lurch is AC... I've only been to Academy and ASA, so I had no idea what it was but didn't want to 'fess up to that:)

Lurch spends most of his time at AC but he spent some time teaching the Adult 8-Day Survival briefing as well as everything we did over at AC.

Anyone else notice the child seats in the mess hall? I don't think any of the kids at camp need child seats, but why are they there? for the public in the other cafeteria?

Public can eat in the space camp cafeteria if they want they just have to pay for it. I would imagine this would be why there are child seats in the cafeteria.

Phillip... In 2002 i went and he was my counselor and he spent the majority of the week doing the thing where you have somebody hold your arms and then slowly lower them down with my team and anybody else who would hold still long enough. It was greatly amusing!
