I'm sorry, lol, sunburns are no fun.

We have parades on Friday and Saturday . . .so far, those are the only days the forecast says it won't rain. It's really bad if it rains, because I'm marching with my electric bass. If it rains, I have to grab my flute instead, I don't have the music memorized, or the horns up or down for flute, I've just been working on bass. I suppose I should have been paying attention to the flutes too.

Yeah. My first day of work this summer was tuesday and while i was pretty sure that i wasnt getting burnt (after many applications of sunblock) I was unbelievably wrong...

Make them make you some sort of cart with a cover so you can still play your bass!

Mysteriously cool weather eh? I'd say it was like that up here but the weather is always a mystery in Michigan.

We're looking at cool cloudy weather tomorrow. There's two parades, the kiddie parade and the grand parade. The weather looks dry for both days, yet still cool and cloudy. Perfect parade weather.

Yeah... Humidity is baaaad for maching. We marched 5 miles once at like insane humidity and we were literally soaked by the time we got to the 4th mile when it started raining.

Yay! The parade went well.

Marching with my bass was quite the experience, but it was a good one, I enjoyed it. The weather was fairly sunny with a few clouds. The bad part being how easily I burn, and just that bit of sun got me pretty darn good. I have a red face and red arms. Tomorrow is the big parade. My mom and I went to Albany and picked out decorations for the trailer and amp. It's going to look spiffy tomorrow! I doubt we'll use it all, but we have lots of options. I'm getting to the band room early to start decorating tomorrow.

Yay for band!!!
