Space Campers Voting
I know not many kids 18 and in their lower-mid twentys vote, so I'm wondering how many Space Campers or former space campers, old enough to vote, have regestered to do so? This doesnt have to become a political argument or anything ha ha, so you dont have to post who your voting for just if you are voting!
If you want to register to vote, you can go to this website https://secure5.ctsg.com/rtv/ovr/indexN ... ?ms=hiphop fill out the form, print it out and mail it in. That is Rock The Vote's website, you can also print out simmilar forms on Kerry's and Bush's campaign websites. If you don't know who to vote for I would check out these sites and read things for yourself, develop your own opinion!

the next site is a good site that relates to many people our age, BUT it contains some "adult" words, so if your not used to hearing things you hear in movies such as American Pie. Don't go here!

This next website honestly freaked me out, it shows faces of alot of the soldiers that have been killed in iraq. If you take a look at their short biographies and read their ages, many many of them are 18, 19, and 20 years old.

This next web site is a commision of US and UK researches finding out how many iraqi civilians have been killed in the war. The number is right around 13,000 CIVILIANS.

I'm not old enough to vote, but my philosophy goes like this:
If the past four years with the incumbent have been crappy, I'm voting for the challenger.
If the past four years have caused improvements/not sucked terribly, I'm voting for the incumbent.
Needless to say, I'd be voting for Kerry, if only I were 18.
End of my lame story.

But better new crappy as opposed to old crappy.Space Nerd wrote:Thats a good philosophy. I'm just worried that no matter who wins the next four years are going to be crappy.

I do vote, but not in the USA, obviously. We are in the midst of an election time right now also. We have to choose a new mayor and aldermen for our town. Yup... fun stuff... although I do not know when the election date is.
I am sure glad I don't have to vote in the USA - I don't particularly care for the politics down there. Mind you, I don't particularly like the politics here either, but they aren't as ummm... well... strange.
