The cunselors are suposedly supose to pay attention to see if you flip the right swithces but they never do. You're right thoug you could just sit their and the shuttle would still take off and it would still land.

You can also fly through the VAB...

I voted for Station because I like doing the experiments and EVAs. However, I like the orbiter also because of the experiments and EVAs... And, I cannot believe I am going to say this, but MOCR was heaps fun too. You will never hear me complain about wat position I get for a mission, as I like them all!

I am sure it depends on your counsellors too - for it is up to them to create scenarios to keep everyone busy.

lol, im still thinking about hillary's and my experiment. ahh, that brittle was good. and the pie thingy. lol, though...i think we might have left it in the orbiter in the mass chaos of trying to get to sleep in the tunnel. (sorry space ghost.) good memories.

hey, anyone remember how to make those two?

That would be penut brittle.

I dont really remember the recipe but i know that the apple one requires a great deal of crackers, some lemon juice and some cinnamon. Thats all i can remember.

I can't speak for Station, as I wasn't assigned there, but between Orbiter and MOCR, I liked the orbiter better (either that, or I was just better at it)! In MOCR, my group would skip ahead to where they should have been when they got behind, and I got so confused as to where we were in the script that I missed half my lines.

Having only done each once, though, it's probably not the fairest of assessments! -C

Haha, most of the reason i replied to this was to see if anyone would notice it was previously the oldest thread on the Hab section.

I noticed it was pretty old, but not that it was the oldest!

I love the orbiter...especially when i was plt. Ms was fun on the orbiter too...it gets so crazy on the orbiter during the edm too!!! Station is my least fav. It gets incredbly boring unless space gost decides to add in some action. This past year when i was on it we had maybe 1 anomoly on it...it was boring

The Orbiter is AWESOME, and the Space Station is AWESOME, although it's my experience on the latter that you typically tend to die... MOCR... I don't know, you get hit with like tornadoes, and space ghosts give your computer random viruses and write you eerie messages, and it's dark and you feel like you're a part of something massive, and I LOVE the whole check thing the flight director does before launch- "eclss, prop, shpi, sspi, everybody else, capcom *blushes at not mentioning all*" and the "go"s (typically!) in response. MOCR is just awesome:)
