Space Camp Barbie!!

LOL, i got space camp barbie off ebay! i just made my mommy order it for my birthday! I'm so excited! shes still in the box! ooh shes wearing a flight suit and she has space food and a little space camp bag and space bucks and a graduation thingy andandand a clipboard and a hat...oh man i'm such a dork but im so excited

hahaha!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i actually think the space camp barbie is cool. I was actually kind of suprised when that came out.

The space camp barbie looks stupid. I think they will make anything into a barbie doll. Cool flight suit, though.

well, of all the stupid things they've done with Barbie, this isn't the most stupid thing...I thought it was kinda neat the first time I saw it...the fact that Space Camp is at least well enough known to make a Barbie out of it was great, I thought.

...As I like to collect all interesting things related to Space Camp, I did think about buying one on impulse...then I remembered that I'm a guy and didn't (I would've had to disown me!)...but it's not completely stupid!

Ebay ussualy has them for sale still. Evertyime i go their and type in space camp as a search they have atleast one usually several.

Wellk if you can afford to bid on it and want to play with it i would bid on another one. But i wouldnt play with one of themn till you have them both because the next one you get may have already been removed from the box.

The Space Camp Barbies were exclusive to Toys 'R' Us as far as retail outlets go, but they were also available to purchase at the USSRC.

Yes...Matell was looking for things to make Barbie into that would provide a good role model for girls...Space Camp suggested making the Barbie a counselor, and Matell did the Space Camp Barbie (along with others promoting the same concept...)

Space Camp allowed the use of logos and such for nothing, and it is my understanding that the only money directly made from the Barbie was any money made from selling it in the gift shops!
