New Look for Space Camp Web Page

Post by Boomerang »

Has anyone been to the space camp website recently? I just went there this morning and noticed they have a new look. Personally i liked the old one better.

i think the picture they have there is really pretty, with the sunset and saturn v, but i dont like how you have to click spacecamp at the top to get anywhere cuz it doesnt have the menu on the side anymore. its annoying lol.

has anyone thats going soon tried to use the online transportation form? they emailed me a whileagosaying that you can update your transportation stuff with it, and i have my camp id# and account# but it doesnt work. and i have to change my flights coming home.. i guess ill just fill out another form and send it or call them..but yeah my mom wanted to do it online in the intrest of time. whee almost time for me to go!!

I dunno...I think some of that automation is down. If you look at their online registration system, the number of spots available for a given date isn't showing up.

Best just to call. You wouldn't want to chance it.

After all, you'll be going to camp very soon!

the testimonials are still there.
go to spacecamp.com then click us space camp on the top, then on the right of that page, it says Hot Spots and has a buncha links for the international camps and stuff, and the alumni testimonials is the first link.

New Site

Other than the initial shock and me wondering "soo...where did space camp go?"(you have to understand that one of my teammates from Gagarin had just told me that Alabama Space Camp was no more...) I like it. It's neat. And I guess for AC people, it's nice, because I don't remember there being an aviationchallenge.com, they had to click on the link from Space Camp to go anywhere.

Well as for the space camp alabama thing its obviously not true despite what some sellers on ebay seem to think. Ive looked at afew space camp items on there where the seller tried to say that space camp alabama was closed just to make it seem like the item was more of a collectors item.

Don't worry space camp is open and isnt planning to close. I think people probably heard about florida and or california closing and automaticly assumed that so was alabama.

Hey guys, check out the new animation on the main page at spacecamp.com. What are your thoughts of how easy it is to navigate around the site and find what you want?
