Who's planning on Space Camp this year?

I am planning on going for the Alumni Fest since this is the 50th Moon Landing Anniversary. Not planning on attending an actual camp at this time. Who else will be there for the Alumni Fest in July?

My wife and I will be going to a 3 day Adult Space Academy in May. Due to a job change and other things going on career wise there is no way we could do it on our actual anniversary so this was as close we could get. (Which was only a couple weeks early anyways). It was a mutual gift we bought for each other when the Black Friday sale was going on.

I do have a question for the Adult Space Academy, are name tags no longer being issued or log books provided? Are wristbands only being issued?

When I was there on November, tjhey only issued the name tag badges without lanyards. Thankfully I had brought my own lanyard, the one from my first time at SC, which I always use.
The log books, we practicall had to beg for and only got them at the end of camp.
Frankly, the last 3 times I've been, I've seen a noted decline in overall what you get, proprtionally, worse each time.

I would like to yet given your experience with the last weeklong camp, i.e., 3 missions totaling 5 hours, I am very hesitant. Why set yourself up for frustration? Now if they want to do an Advanced schedule like I did in 1993, I might be in. (Sorry, I have that schedule in a jpg and it's too large to attach.) I don't think that they'll believe that I am just 18 so I could do ASA Elite.

Guys,

I need a life line here. Are there any 2019 Alumni activities this year? My son wants to go to a program during the summer and I would like to have it the same time as one of the activities. Is the 50th anniversary concert the same as Summer Fest from previous years? Is anything else going on?

Can someone help me out? I texted Jason and Vince, but they must be busy in the sims because they haven't gotten back to me. :-)

Thanks,

The Hall of Fame dinner is the weekend of July 13, but the rest of the Summerfest alumni activities will be the weekend of July 20th. There's just so much going on that week with all of the Apollo 50 stuff. While the Summerfest stuff is still being nailed down, here is a run-down of the Apollo 50 events:

Sounds like you need to send your son to camp the week of 13-20 July and add a few days on either end to attend the special events.

2019 is going to be a busy year at SC for my family. As mentioned previously, my wife and I will be attending Adult Space Academy. Then a few weeks later, my oldest daughter will be attending Space Academy through the Girl Scouts Destination Program. The ladies in my life were wondering what the schedule(s) would be like for these programs. Does anyone have a recent itinerary for either program that they would be willing to share?

Email USSRC and ask for one... I've done that in the past.
