Anyone else tune in for the big announcement yesterday? I had to take an urgent phone call in the middle of it, so I didn't catch all of the details. Something was mentioned about a building that will connect the old museum building (with the TCF/MCC, UAT, etc.) with the Davidson Center. I would love to hear the rest of the details.

This was discussed at the Town Hall Meeting for Alumni that was held during the Alumni Reunion Hall of Fame Event in July. Here is the news report about it: http://whnt.com/2017/08/22/confirmed-10 ... et-center/

It will include the new Cyber Camp and also the Space Launch System. It is an exciting project.

I am hoping that eventually both adult and family robotics camps will be created and then eventually a cyber camp for youth, adults, and family as well. I'm excited by the news and eager to see what will be done in the future.

My understanding was the SLS building would be separate from the connector building. Sort of a "Davidson Center II" located directly behind the Davidson.

This year Gen. Hyten mentioned a cyber camp coming up? What's that all about? I know some kids who'd love that, but I don't know much about it.

Looks like Space Camp just added a section on to their website about the cyber camp. A brief description and registration to sign up on the mailing list about this program can be found here: https://www.spacecamp.com/cyber/camp

They already had an inaugural cyber camp with students, in which a brief media release was posted here: https://www.rocketcenter.com/media/rele ... cyber-camp

There were also a few postings about it on the Space Camp social media feeds.

I'm really hoping they make a family and/or adult cyber camp as well.
