A new Orion sim is being built where Atlantis used to sit. It will be up and flying for trainees attending this summer.

I'll be there fom 26th to 28th May. So, the Shuttle Mission Simulation is already gone and Orion wasn't finished... So, what will I do there? That's a little sad.

I just signed up for an Orion mission at the Summer Fest. Maybe I will get to try the new Orion simulator. Looking forward to it. Is anyone else going to Summer Fest?

Enterprise is still there! (The nearly full size orbiter mock up.). There is also another Orion simulator that had been up and running since 2013. You will have plenty of simulators to use whilst there. Have fun!

Do you know the week when they will start using the Orion sim will be used?

More importantly, I wonder when they'll get all the bugs out of it, if it's anything like the other capsule sim!

It will likely run identical software with the existing Orion sim, much like the shuttle sims do.

I was at camp on 6/12-6/16 this year and I think they where possibly using the new sim software.
