I'll be there because my camp session will finish that day. What can my family and I expect?

I'll likely be there for this as well.

I have been to 3 of the hall of fame events and its diffrent each year. It always has a dinner and ceremony with it. Last year there was also a silent auction and concert. Since they are combining it with the Space Explorers reunion expect people who worked on the Apollo program as well as current NASA people their usualy a few asronauts as well but not always.

These afre usualy fun events and i've enjoyed the ones i've been to. Plus its a great time to meet alumni and fellow people from Hab 1. Just remember the event will costs extra so make sure to get tickets for it.

Will there be anything during the day do you think? Graduation is at 11, so I was hoping there might be something before we have to hit the road for the six hour drive home.

In my experience not for the general public. I knopw the inductees and past inductees usualy have some events going on. If bthere is a chance of staying an extra night i think its worth it.

Party should last all weekend long! Not just Friday.

I plan on sticking around the night of the 27th too. If Boomerang can make it, I'm sure he will be around as well. As we get closer to that August weekend, we will get a headcount. So far it sounds like there will be plenty of alumni around!

As much as i'd like to stay the whole weekend its not in the cards this year. I'm hoping and for the moment planning to come down on the 26th arriving by aroiund noon or so. Spend time at the space and rocket center, go to the hall of fame that night and any other activities we come up with afterwards. Probably spend the morning at sprocket again then head home the afternoon of the 27th. I will be there for several days next year whenever they tell us more about the 30th anniversary plans but this year will be a short trip.
