June Alumni Camp Photos

Post by pilotgirl21 »

OK, I have finally uploaded some of my photos. The quality isn't the greatest, so if there are any photos that you would like to see in the original size and quality just let me know and I can email them to you.

Thanks for posting and sharing the pictures, Lisa! They turned out great!

I guess I am not the only Canadian to customise my flight suit with the appropriate flag and space agency patch! Oh wait, the guy on your team did it to his jacket, but same deal. Woo.. go Canada!

Don't mine me... big Canada Day party this weekend past...I am still seeing maple leaf flags everywhere I turn... oy...

Thank you so much for sharing those. Some things look exactly the same as I remember them and others have completely changed.

We've had several Canadians on the team at various times. Note the appropriate flag in the background as well.

Happy belated Canada Day!

Rich, You'd better hope I'm not in charge of ECLSS the next time you're in the orbiter...

"What cabin leak? You mean that cabin pressure of 3.2 psi with a partial O2 pressure of 0.04? Nothing to worry about..."

Or better yet, you are a mission specialist when I'm on the flight deck...

"Oh - Rich was still outside in the MMU before we hit that OMS burn??? - Ooops - Sorry."

Don't mess with the Empress...

I could have taken a picture of you on the plane asleep, but I didn't. Instead I took about 10 pictures out of the window.

Oh yes, and you can thank Benji for taking that picture of me. I started to get up from the ground after going down the rock wall, and he had my camera in his hand and told me to get back on the floor so that he could take my picture. And actually, that had only been the second time that I had climbed a rock wall, so I can still fall on my back afterwards!

... And now you wonder why I'm so camera-shy - a pict like that would have been SO attractive!!!

Thank you for your restraint! :)

And good work by Benji for that picture of you at (the bottom of) the rock wall!

Perhaps I didn't take that pic of you asleep because at that point I didn't realize that I had no photos of you...

So, Vincent, when shall we expect your full report, with photos like you did up for the 20th Anniversary?

If you weren't planning on one, then don't do one just for me, but I am curious.

I'm working (read: thinking) on it!

I think at this point it'll be a complete retrospective on the whole Summer. Seems to make the most sense to me to do it that way...

So it's going to have to wait until after the August camp!
