I'm here...

Post by CastAway »

Yes, yes I am. I'm in the computer lab right now (of course)... supposed to be practicing landing the shuttle or something, but of course I'm not... haha. Anyways, 12-day is awesome so far... today I was overwhelmed with ridiculous happy when I realized that this is day 2 of 10 full-length days... that's so awesome.

So I know secrets, like how long the LDM/RBM (figure it out.... but that's what they're calling the EDM) lasts... this is going to be an awesome week... though, strangely, the LDM is on Saturday... I have absolutely no clue what the next week will be about if the whole thing doesn't lead up to the LDM... seriously, what the heck are we supposed to do for another week? This should be awesome.

P.S. I don't remember what Sara(h?)'s record is, but I did 24 Space Shots in a row during my EALD... pretty respectable accomplishment, I'd say.

Our team back in 1998 or 1999 rode Space Shot 16 times in a row. We would have stayed longer if we weren't already late for something else. As for my adult team in 2004, it took much convincing for some of us to ride Space Shot once, yet alone multiple times. Then again... I begged and pleaded to do just about everything more than once.

EDIT: Oh my goodness, I cannot believe my last trip to Space Camp was over nine months ago! Wow... it feels like only weeks, not months!

Hope the rest of your two weeks goes as well! If Phil is still there and you see him in your travels, say hi!

Hmm... if I remember correctly, there are a few Phils... but if I happen to run into him, I'll tell him "Carrie says hi."

So... anyone want any juicy 12-day details?

Haha... I'll have to come up with a few minor spoilers and see about running them by Vincent... but I won't spoil anything without running it by him.
