Re: Adult Advanced Space Academy
Here's their 2018 sample. I had to convert the PDF to a JPG to attach it. This was their 2019 reply: In response to your question about Adult Advanced Space Academy. It is based on the students version of Advanced Space Academy. It will have the same activities with the discussions and briefings bei...

Re: Adult Advanced Space Academy
Yes, they have.
I'd like to know what I'm getting for my money, especially when it comes to missions. Beats trusting them and complaining afterwards... I used to drink the Kool-Aid. Not any more...

I asked about a sample schedule for this since the teaser lists only one mission.

Re: Early 80’s flight suit
I have a 1991 suit that I've been using for comparison. I asked in the Facebook Space Camp Alumni group and they agree with you, 1988-1990. I am puzzled by the material, tho, as it looks different from the later cotton/poly blend. I searched for pictures of Flight Apparel Industries flight suits wit...

Early 80’s flight suit
This came up on eBay today. My guess is that it’s early 80’s vintage. The seller says that they think it’s a cotton/poly blend. Has anyone else ever seen one of these? The seller is taking offers.

Re: Space Camp For Educators
Someone in the Space Camp Alumni group on FB called and was told that you do not have to be a current educator to attend an educator camp.

It does have a lot of nice features
However, I was short VIP points so I never even tried to order the Ulysses probe kit.

Re: The Future of Adult Camps
Just to give you an idea of how it was in the early 90’s, the 1993 brochure listed 33 adult camps (6 in Oct-November ‘92, the remainder May-Nov ‘93) and 10 adult academies (5 each Oct-Dec, ‘92 & ‘93).
By ‘96, those numbers were 4 & 2.

The Future of Adult Camps
My feeling is that it will be three to four years before we see adult camps (other than educator and parent/child) again. I believe that they were among the first cancelled and I suspect that they will be the last restored for a few reasons. First, the demand for kids’ camps is high, leaving few spo...
