The tours are every day at 10 AM and 2 PM, and on weekends and as the season gets busier there will be tours more frequently. They take you up to the top of the UAT for the overlook of the floor and into the Hab for a view of a room as well as a peek at the simulators in the Astrotrek building. The ...

It is the tradition on Moonbuggy Race weekend that it start out cold and rainy. This year was no exception. Friday was drizzly with a high around 60. Saturday was gorgeous. It started out in the high 40s, but with the sunshine it warmed up to the low 70s.

Also, in regards to 19 year old counselors, that doesn't happen anymore. The minimum age is now 21, with the requisite number of college credit hours.

I hate to contradict CRS, but it was announced that there will be another training in March for Level 3 (open availability) counselors. Training will be 10-30 March and 20 people will be hired to train. Training in May (25- June 5) will be for new space staff, new AC staff, and cross training space ...

Good news for those still interested in being a Space Camp counselor for summer 2010. Human Resources posted another 30 jobs, to train in the spring. They are also taking applications for Aviation Challenge counselors.

You need to contact Human Resources IMMEDIATELY!!!! Training began today for Spring 2010's new counselors. Depending on how many complete training and how many stay on for the summer will determine if another group will be hired and trained. Hiring for the spring counselors begins in late November. ...

It is official. There will be an ASA 12 Day program next summer. There will be one session in June and one session in July. Dates have not yet been confirmed. A group in Dubai purchased a franchise of Space Camp to open camps in Dubai (Dec 2009), north Africa and, I believe, India. They should be great camps, as they will be duplicating Space Camp's simulators and general activities (also updating to reflect NASA's future goals).
