Re: Oct 2016 Camp

You are doing it right, TahoeMinx! You will get the best of both worlds by staying in the Hab for the duration of Camp and bonding with your teammates, AND getting Marriott time as well. Any time gained by arriving early or leaving late is a valuable bonus that you will be happy you had later. Just ...

Re: What has happened to the atlantis simulator from Level 2?

Re: What has happened to the atlantis simulator from Level 2?

When I last visited back in July, she was being used for Parent-Child Camp shuttle missions. She's kinda hidden back behind the new Science On Orbit ISS exhibit.

Re: Germany meets Space Camp ;-)

Madison Square Mall is only about 3 miles from Space Camp. It's a nice, newer mall and has just about everything. http://www.madisonsquaremall.com/ Um, no. Madison Square Mall is dead. Literally. There are about 3 stores left in it and soon to be closed and reconfigured as a mixed use facility (off...

Re: Greetings fellow campers!

What part of the world are you living in now, Brad? If it's not too much trouble, you could come down for the Alumni Festival in July. It's a 4-day reunion of sorts, with a ton of activities, culminating in what will be an 80's-themed concert under the Pathfinder shuttle. I attended last year and it...

Shuttle-Centaur leaving Sprocket

The Shuttle-Centaur display is no longer a part of Shuttle Park. It was packed up today and is being moved to Glenn Research Center in Ohio.

Re: Possible New Space Camp Logo

Here is another idea I came up with last night. It communicates exactly what Space Camp does, which is inspire kids to reach for the stars. http://i48.tinypic.com/fwqgdw.jpg I've still got some tweaking to do on it, and I'm going to play around with it and see if it works with some different backgr...

Re: Inspired by my visit to Marshall...

Good job! Looks better than any of the costume suits you see in the different online "space shops". For what it's worth, there are some pretty good 3D-printed Apollo suit hose connectors on Shapeways. I would post the link, but the shapeways site happens to be down at the moment. Look for ...
