Monkeys are off for now.

Looking more and more like a European firm is going to re-do Skylab for use in Europe and then move it back to the center at a later time. Hate to pay the shipping cost for that.

Second, I was very pleased to see that the old picnic area in between the Rocket Park and the Shuttle Park has been re-opened! Campers from the 80s and 90s will remember hanging out in this area. Lots of good memories here, and I'm glad to see the fence taken down and this area being used for its i...

So Marshall really is open again. :D I, and the rest of my 12-day Team, was part of the first team of Space Campers allowed into Marshall in years. It was all very secure; they issued us badges, and we were escorted everywhere. Really cool. ~Revan Not quite open again. The okay has been given by NA...

Or Russia... that could work, seeing how ISS astronauts are being launched from there. Although, not quite the same. And they could do the whole thing in IMAX. Haha. Actually, an IMAX film about Space Camp (a documentary) may not be such a bad idea. But I digress... I don't know who you are but I l...

A few months ago in one of the public meetings the CEO reported that there was a director/producer who was interested in the concept of a Space Camp movie. I think they would opt for a remake rather than a sequel.

Hotdog - I'm in one of the meetings now and it sounds like they actually want to also focus some living and working in space exhibits near the SC training area down the road as well. I'll go back and edit my reports later. With every meeting there are more details.

Yep look at that drawing again and imagine you were standing in the gift shop looking down towards the main lobby. The windows you see to the left are the old guest services office. The idea seems to be to turn the older building into a defense & energy display area and most of the space exhibit...

My understanding is that the shuttle exhibit area will remain in one of the upper areas above the atrium. When I casually inquired about how do people that are not able to climb stairs are to see the exhibit there was reference to a gallery book. <Rant On> Technically the old building does not fall ...

Did they finaly get a wheel chair bus for the tours or will they still be denying these to disabled customers? I know this was a block to them restarting a few years ago. Sorry for the delay in replying - I've been as sick as a Laika  Hotdog is right on it - based on the discussion in the mee...

The Executive Committee has referred her and a draft contract to the full board who meets on Tuesday. I was told today at the meeting that she should be there.

I think she is a really good choice based off her resume.
