Actually, since he's going to 8 day ASA, the final mission will be 24 hours (unless they have since changed that). I did the 24 hour mission in 2004 and it was awesome. You're in for a great time.

My parents never went to any of my graduations (I am also from the same region of Canada). I always had someone in the row behind me take a picture of me getting my wings at grad. Just make sure her dad has a camera for the graduation so he can take the picture of her getting her wings.

I was quite shocked when I heard the news. I have read many of his books and he is one of my favourite authors and Jurassic Park is one of my favourite novels.

First (and only) time I saw it was during late departure at Christmas camp. We wanted to watch Spacecamp but the counselor brought out the wrong movie. But he was nice and got us discounted snacks from the ward room.

I realized yesterday that this week is 7 years since my first trip to camp (and 6 years since my second time as I went the same week 2 years in a row). I can't believe it's been that long!
