Re: My 4-day SC experience...
Well, there are actually commerical operators who use that runway as well. There's an F-104 demonstration team who also does high speed testing and they fly out of there. Zero-G and StarFighters, Inc. are at a completely different level than some guys with a Beechcraft as they do some work with NAS...

Re: My 4-day SC experience...
That was the one disappointment for this trip. Steve had been on top of this aspect of our KSC mission, with open comms to their people. Turns out, they'd apparently gone belly-up and wouldn't admit that to Steve until we were committing to the flight itself. Mind you, Steve could answer this bette...

Re: Weeklong Adult Space Camp
We were told today that USSRC will list 2 week long adult pilot programs in 2015. They'll need at least 12 attendees each to be a GO.

Re: Orion Lunar Mission
I believe that what I view as bugs, the USSRC views as nominal. That's why nothing gets changed.

Adult Programs Holding has returned. Pay now, choose your dates later.
I wonder if the refund policy is less restrictive with this option.

Re: So, who's ready for 2014?
Man, they still haven't fixed that? They told us a year ago they were having issues... I was told that USSRC recently had two corporate camps with no Orion issues reported that she was aware of. I think that the key words are "reported" and "aware of." Most people are not there ...

Re: So, who's ready for 2014?
If it is the same as the August 4-8 session, which was arranged by the same group, we had 3 shuttle missions and one Orion Lunar Missions. The first 2 shuttle missions were one hour long. The third was a 3-hour extended duration mission and the Orion Lunar mission was 2 hours. We only had one adult...

I count 19 and that same little bird said that she was forming them into 2 teams. Maybe there are others not listed...p51 wrote: I've heard there's a facebook SC alumni group going together for this, apparently filling out an entire team.
They have their own patches and T's, I believe.

A little bird says that there will be *4* teams for the October 4-day.
Does anybody from USSRC know the number of missions (shuttle, Orion) are on the team schedule?

Filed with that camp's material...
I need to hang my Attila Hejja prints first (they've been framed for years), then my orbiter pictures with spaceflown material (1 framed, rest to follow), then ?
Only so much wall space....

Re: So, who's ready for 2015?
There's a May 2015 4-day listed. It's not described as a 4-day but you can tell from the dates & price.
The September 2015 4-day is still a bargain at $499.

Re: So, who's ready for 2014?
The December 4-day has disappeared again. It has reappeared AGAIN. The flip-flops with this camp can only be a drag on potential attendance, especially since the Christmas/New Year's holidays are in high demand when it comes to requesting time off from work. Then again, maybe it is another private ...
