Congratulations on meeting General Charlie Duke. A true gentleman, and a very friendly and approachable guy. He's a National Treasure!

Re: Become Canada's next astronaut!

For NASA, the minimum education requirement is a Bachelor's degree in a science field. But we all know the old joke: "I'm going to apply to be an astronaut!" "Oh yeah? What are you getting your second PhD in?" Most astronauts have a Master's degree. And a pilot's license. But the...

We go to the LIBRARY to study!

Yes, adults don't need to have their meds doled out by the Camp Nurse. At least, I never did that.

One year, a team member kept obviously flirting with our Crew Trainer. We gave him the callsign Tailgunner.

Re: Shuttle-Centaur leaving Sprocket

I always enjoyed just standing there and looking at all the structure and wiring, space hardware fascinates me. It was one of only two vehicles on display that required an air compressor to keep them structurally sound. A little sad to hear, but oh well. I hope they put something equally cool in tha...

Re: Astronaut Hall of Fame aka Space Camp Florida

I have the AHOF pin and patch. Always loved that logo. I'm glad it's being moved to the KSCVC, where it will be appreciated. I saw it in its former glory, so it was indeed sad to see it last year with Lee and Steve.

Train With next week will be interesting, that's for sure. I'm hoping we will blaze a trail for the return of Adult ASA for good. 39 signed up, last I heard. That should send a message that there's a demanding market out there. Did Low Ropes this morning and Climbing Tower with Zip Line tonight in t...

Too funny, Lee. In a sad way, I mean. I promise I won't have any more fun, in solidarity with you. Starting tomorrow. No wait, tomorrow won't work. I'll try, though, if I get the chance.

Re: There's a whole lot of stupid out there in the internet...

Someone I work with actually wears a baseball cap made with a metallic lining to keep out EM tramsmissions. She also believes in every out-there conspiracy theory (chem trails, vaccine poisoning, CIA drugging mass murderers, you name it). She can't be reasoned with. None of them can be reasoned with...

Without the adult market, I guess they didn't figure they had a market for them. The USSRC could make millions if they would just listen to us. I know, I'm preaching to the choir.
