The reason you dont see the tracks is because in some parts of the adjoining service road parts of the interstate, the tracks are below grade.

Thats a pretty cool picture of some pumpkins and a saturn V!

Good write up, I wonder if all the old stops will be on the new tour. I saw mention of further tour stop development after starting again. I wonder what other things they could have in mind?

Yea we could all strapped in and buzzed the Saturn V! Kinda sucks, worked for almost a year to get a plane, and then I lose it before I even had it a year! Thankfully, the partners that own the bird with me are going to absorb my share. Makes it alot easier than selling. If all doesn't work out and ...

Well the exact time line I don't have at this point. I just commited to the move last week. In the future, when I'm in Houston, it means I will probably fly commercially to Huntsville. I would imagine that I will be hot and heavy with the house hunting next month.

Yea the last round we all hung out in Huntsville, was really the coming out of the "other" themed exhibits at the Space and Rocket Center. Now I guess that idea has finally made it down south... My next adventure will be at Space Center Houston I guess. I haven't been there in the last yea...

This is the best time for the training center floor. I glad the Endevour pic got posted, I forgot what that sim looked like. Also you can see the cafeteria has the original layout, before it went to the crappy layout they have now. I hate the single serving tiny plastic plates of each item served. T...

Stennis space center, Stennisphere and the new Infinity Ctr

Gents, Just visited the new Infinity Science Center and wanted to make a quick report. The building itself is really nice and new. Its also a bigger facility. However, i was very dissaponted with the calibre of the museum. This new facility replaces "the Launchpad". This building was locat...

That is exactly what I am thinking as far as aircraft. I was looking on the new site that was recently posted with old USSRC pics and saw the old pics with the X-15 in the main museum. How they let that go doesn't make sense. Of course, they also parked the Sky Lab trainer outside for a few years an...

I think the problem with Rocket Park is that since the Saturn 5 moved to the Davidson building, the focus has been off. This is also due to the fact that rocket park has changed over the years alot, hense the hodge podge layout. I think there is two ways that the rocket park could start looking up t...

I was thinking about the idea of putting something in rocket park. Since so many changes have come to rocket park, it looks dis-shoveled. It would be nice to see a facelift here.

Yes I agree, the movie was very well done. My girldfriend even enjoyed it, despite her lack of enthusiasm for anything at the space and rocket center. The film was a great ballance of the story of special ed kids as well as space camp programs. Neither point took side stage. Obviously, there were a ...
