NASA to Launch Lightsaber into Space

In honor of the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars, the force will be with the crew of the next shuttle mission. Here's a couple of articles with pics. This has brought such a smile to my face this morning. Nothing like Chewbacca, Storm Troopers, R2D2, and some Imperial Guards running around the airport....

Someone finally got ahold of the callsign "off limits" list. LOL Hubby ended up with the callsign "Kryptonite"..."Krypto" for short. He told everyone how I used to be a counselor there and my manager gave me the call sign was "Lois Lane." He didn't want to be ...

Hubby's friend's callsign is "Trapper." Not sure where that one came from. Hopefully he'll call soon...hubby, that is.

Sometimes I wonder how we managed all that, plus our off time activities. Wow! I chalk it up to being much younger then. I can't even make it to midnight anymore. I very distinctly remember one summer when after two or three weeks of 16+ hour shifts and very little sleep (take an additional hour to...

Some of us get burned out. Working 160+ hour pay periods gets tiring, and while we love the campers, there's sometimes too much BS to put up with. It always hit me worst mid to late August. 160 work hours is no joke either. I was one of the late ones back to school. Wednesday after Labor Day. So, I...
