Wow! It seems like just yesterday you were posting about completing your training. It is amazing how fast the summers pass by. It's a shame you won't be there a week longer to torture my husband when he goes through Adult AC the weekend of Aug 24.

Hoot Gibson was awesome. He hung out with us at Otters and told stories. Mike Mullane seemed alright too when I met him in '91 or '92. I still have his autographed SpaceShots collector card somewhere (anyone remember those?) I'm glad Mike Mullane made a good impression on you, because most of the t...

It's so cool y'all had good experiences meeting Bob Springer. When I came across most astronauts that visited Camp, they weren't very pleasant (to the campers or the counselors). Sally Ride was the exception.

Yup, we have the new launch date. I am in Florida now. We did the VIP KSC tour today. Words cannot describe the excitement of today! We went to the Apollo 1 launch pad, LC-39A to see endeavour, and so much more. I thought the STS-118 launch pad would be the best part but the SSPF was amazing! We we...

I wonder if it was the same one from when I was a counselor in the early 90s.

Well, the calendar rolled over today to a new month, so all their flight clocks reset. On a positive note, Northwest is a travel partner of Delta & Continental airlines. If something should happen, say with your connections, they can easily put you on one of the other two airlines. My husband un...
