Re: 2019?

Do we have any further specifics on the July 13 and July 20th weekend activities? Is there anything happening interesting on the 12th?

Re: 'Space Shuttle Mission' simulator 2007

Update: I did get it to work on a Windows 10 computer. Now I just have to work less than 65 hours a week, so I have some time to fly missions. Believe it or not, the design group still replies to emails even though the sim is 2007 era. No word on the second version that was promised in 2014, but it ...

Re: 2019?

Ok update, we locked him in for AC Mach II the week of summer fest and 50th anaversery. So I'll be up in Huntsville for the festivities this year. Be good to see everyone again.

Re: 'Space Shuttle Mission' simulator 2007

Yea I tried xp compatibility mode back in the day. However, I haven't tried an emulator yet. They weren't as main stream as they are today. Might be my next project. If you guys have never used it, it was more comprehensive than the Binary Star simulators I have used. It was really awesome when I ha...

'Space Shuttle Mission' simulator 2007

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone happened to use the Space Shuttle Mission Simulator 2007 from Exciting Simulations from back in the day? I used to have it and it was a great sim. Somehow I got separated from it and back a few years ago when I went to try to reinstall it and use, it didn't work. ...

Re: IMAX :-(

Guys, I need a life line here. Are there any 2019 Alumni activities this year? My son wants to go to a program during the summer and I would like to have it the same time as one of the activities. Is the 50th anniversary concert the same as Summer Fest from previous years? Is anything else going on?...

Re: IMAX :-(

I just watched Dream is Alive in omage to the Space Dome tonight. Maybe Hail Columbia tomorrow. Just had a thought, what happens to the films now that the theater is closed? I'd sure love to see them get a new home. We have an Omnimax at the Shreveport La science center. It would be cool if the old ...

Re: IMAX :-(

Man hearing about the closing makes me sad. I always loved watching movies after the day's activities at SC. It was a good way to hang out, cut loose, and see some guys on other teams. The Omnimax theaters were always better than the flat screen counterparts. I just wished the idea would have stood ...

Re: Looking for old teammates

I think what Jeff described is all part of the experience... To go off to camp when you are young... meet a good looking girl who likes nerdy stuff...and of course you screw it up and don't even think to ask her how to get in touch after the camp dream comes to an end. Dang! Things just go way too f...

Re: Last mission for Atlantis

So I wonder where the storage facility is where the sims go to die? I wish all of the sim equipment could have been saved as-is by some camper that was well endowed. Maybe they go to the bus barn... you know like where they used to like to park things like the actual Sky lab simulator... in the elem...

Re: 2017

Guys, After a much too long span of time, I will be making a quick stop by Huntsville this summer. Unfortunately, it is the week before summerfest, so I will miss the big party. More than likely sometime during July 6th - 9th. Anyone is town that week? I would love to catch up with the ole gang! Plu...

I was disappointed to not be able to go in the orbiter when I visited KSC last. Anyone have any pictures of the interior?

Re: Alumni Weekend 2015

Man that's cool to hear they are going to re build the space walker ride. That was one of the biggest disappointments I found when I came back as an adult, because that was one of the coolest memories I had from the first time I went. Hopefully, the money can come together for the Space Dome to reha...

Re: Toxic team members

I think there were a handful of different dynamics at play here with these two folks. First issues is that these folks didn't go to Space Camp as kids. Second, they didn't sound like they were space geeks like most of the alum are. Third, is that Space Camp is pretty geared to kids. I can imagine ad...

Re: Pre-modern Sims

No idea how I missed that... I went back through the hab1 main page archives and didn't see anything on it. Well that makes me feel better knowing they finally got it back inside. Time flys I guess. I know since the last time Ive seen you guys, I had another kid and we moved to Space City (of Texas)...
