Re: Less than a month away from ASA!
I live close by, my plan has been to come down on Friday October 11th and catch up with you guys before you get started on your adventure. I will stay at the Marriott for the weekend, and hang out at Sprocket one last time before winter sets in. I will meet up with Steve and other alumni and Hab1 or...

Re: Patch Design
Pretty much everything Lee said. One more tip, draw your design as large as you can on the paper or cardstock you're given. Bigger is better, it will help your team stand out amongst the others who may work smaller (you will be competing against the other teams for Best Patch Design award). If you f...

Re: Alumni Weekend 2015
Today I returned home from the *epic* 2015 Space Camp Alumni Festival. For those who couldn't make it, I must say, you missed one of the most fantastic celebrations the Rocket Center has ever witnessed. As I write this, I find myself suffering from that old "Post-Space Camp Depression" as ...

Re: Revision 3
I have to hit Refresh every time I visit the forum, or else I don't see the new posts highlighted. This didn't happen before, and I haven't changed any browser settings or anything. Does it on my work computer as well. Anyone else only see new posts after hitting Refresh?

Re: Alumni Weekend 2015
The excitement is starting to build! I'll be sure to take lots of pics and fill you guys in on all of the events. Wish you all could be there! I'm not sure what I'm most excited about: getting back in the sims after 20+ years, hanging out with astronauts, seeing alumni and hall of fame friends again...

HabForum - Issues with Recent Update
Seems to mimic the flat style of the current Apple iPhone OS. I was really hoping the flat design trend wouldn't catch on, but I guess whatever Apple does, people feel compelled to copy it for some reason. Will take some time to get used to it. The colors are a bit too pastel, need to be rich...

Re: Prep for Adult ASA
At the alumni festival next month, the AC sims we get to use are F-18s. Not sure if F-35 sims are in the works, but I will find out for you. For now though, I'd stick with the Hornets :) One thing I did to prepare for camp as a teenager was build a layout of the shuttle flight deck to better familia...

Re: Board Meeting Notes 5/20/2014
Thanks for the update, Wes. I would come down for the Friday meeting if I weren't already going out-of-town. Keep us posted when the next meetings are in advance, and perhaps if one falls on a Friday again I can make the trip down. So the paid alumni association was discussed as something separate f...

Re: Alumni Weekend 2015
If I recall correctly, having an alumni camp session to coincide with the Alumni Weekend activities (as we have had in the past), was discussed and considered. I believe the issue this year lies in the timing. In the past, Alumni Weekend/Hall of Fame would be in late August when Space Camps for kids...

That being said, now is the time to book your room at the Marriott before prices go up after the announ...

Re: Weeklong Adult Space Camp
There is a similar knocking going on here just east of Huntsville in Chattanooga. I want to sign up for this so bad! This is the "come out of Space Camp retirement" opportunity I have been waiting for! If this were any other year I would be first in line for training with Hoot Gibson, but ...
