Boeing Starliner swag...
A friend of mine at Boeing got me some of the stickers for this design, and one of the lapel pins. The stickers look great, but they are about three-quarters of the size of a normal NASA mission patch sticker. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v214/willysmb44/starliner_zpswhdmcn4z.jpg He was quite s...
Re: 2017
I have seen Dr. Seddon in photos from a few USSRC events, but rarely as a featured guest or speaker. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Dottie, though, I bet she'd make a great person for this, and who better than someone who went through SC herself as a kid! I got to talk to her at the museum in...
Re: 2017
I'd love to see Hoot and Dr. Seddon, but I got the feeling they do stuff like this individually, at least as trainers for Space Camp. Does she even shown up there much? Is SC more Hoot's thing than hers? At the Alumni Festival AKA Space Camp Summerfest 2015, we got to fly simulated missions with Dot...

Did it have the old logo with "US" at the front?majtom7 wrote:Last night, Adam wore a SpaceCamp sweatshirt throughout the episode.

Re: Pima Air and Space Museum
I was there a LONG time ago but they have some very impressive stuff at the museum. As for the AMARC tour, they might only give that to US residents, what with all the modern security issues and all. Time was, there were a few scrap places you could ask about and buy pieces from scrapped planes. A p...

Where the heck is this?
Note the Space Camp flags at the top. Is this in the Turkey location, maybe?

SOLD, Pathfinder Pins
I only have two of these to sell, I assume they're from the Japanese tour of Pathfinder where it got rebuilt to look more like a 'real' orbiter. I've never seen anything like this before. You could be the only camper on your block to have a real Pathfinder pin on your lanyard! pin.jpg $10.00 each pl...

Re: Space Camp Robotics - Prime Contract Patch
Thanks for the list, I just nabbed it. Even though like many campers I'm not all that interested in the robotics portion of it, I'm always looking for camp patches that I didn't have my collection.

Re: Adult Camp Vs. Advanced Academy
I've done the 3-day program twice, the 4-day one once and this year did the week-long ASA for the first time. Generally, the 3-day one is really more like 2 days in length. You're done just about the time you're getting up to speed with your team, sadly. The major differences for you would be: No sc...

I have several high-res black/white ones that were sent to me when I got onto the ambassador program. If you don't get what you need, I know you have my email and you can ask me that way.

Here's a video you may like - HOOT is da man! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fkHV4fl49k Yep, Da Man, indeed. For crying out loud, the man was a carrier pilot, jet jockey, Top Gun graduate (I think), astronaut, heading the astronaut office, then air racer who WON Reno last year. Geez, and this guy...

Does anyone have a clue what this eventually went for?
Probably for the best that I missed the auction as my wife would have cut off a vital part of my anatomy had I bid and won it...

I missed out on bidding as I was busy with something.
Still can't believe there were NO bids on eBay.

That makes two of us who have skidded down the runway due to pilot "error"! Maybe we'll call it the Skidmarker's Club 8) Error , my eye! I can't say for absolute certainty, but I'm 95%+ convinced he did it to make me look bad. Did Hoot have one of his famous "Flaming Hooker" coc...
