I love the space stuff... but I was the youngest (20) when I was there... everyone was at least 5 years older than me... and that was just one person. I can't remember a single time that someone got captured. I don't think they really capture people unless your doing something stupid (like walking the course etc...). I have heard people call safety before though. The courses are different for Mach 2 and 3... at least last time I was there.

Big gasp!!! In the fall I start my 4th year of college. Crap I feel old. I go to USF... no one's heard of it really, it's in Tampa, FL... but we have 40,000 students... I got into the Naval Academy but an injury kept me out (but a guy I flied rio for goes there now)... I changed my major... twice of...

My first Christmas Camp we had... 12 kids and they had scheduled two teams for mach 3... they put 5 guys and 1 girl on each team... guess they wanted equal numbers??? lol. I dunno it was Grunt and Beaver changing everything last minute. I love small teams... you get SO much extra sim time.

I tried to do this a couple times... Usually the shelters got made and then we weren't allowed to do it... ie. Christmas Camp, rain and injury in my case, lol. But was funny to try to make something... especially since I was the only girl a couple times... Haha.

I had a T-Ops with Link and Grunt too... and he did the German inteligence thing... I think we started laughing... or were trying darn hard not to laugh... Oh well. Wow... he was there a LONG time ago... I was thinking 2001 also... Hm??? Or was it the summer before... I dunno. lol.

AC bays definitely kick Space Camps out of the water... you can actually sleep in them and on a semi decent matress... :) Worst part of X-Mas camp is that 2 out of our 3 years they just shoved us in the hab anyways. :( No fair, false advertisement, lol... Well I did adult Academy back in Sept... but am planning to scrap my AC stuff and some REALLY old Florida Space Camp pics... And since last time I did AC was Dec 2002-Jan 2003... haha. Oh well, I remember everything worth remembering.

I never woke up at 5am... not even when we still did PT... Wake up was usually 0630 when I was there... later (0700) for X-Mas Camp I think... But it does change depending on your schedule.

I got a medal and a patch I think... Only time I got a scarf was when I got Right Stuff. But yeah... I am with everyone else... you do it for the pride on knowing you won.

Wow... that's impressive... I like it. I have been scanning my old pics like crazy lately so I can scrap mine while I have time this summer... But am such a procrastinator... I love yours though... Makes me wanna do ASA...

My first time at AC was definitely one of the most memorable... but other times were just as great... have to admit I had the most fun when there were less campers at camp... It's super duper fun always though. And the staff is awesome and always will be I think.

I'm born and raised in Florida... and I went to camp in Huntsville a few summers... and the heat kick my rear end... It was miserably hot. I think when I did Space Academy it hit like 106 one day. It was horrible. Lake time was always good though... they don't use the lake for X-mas camp obviously.

OMG! A streaker? Crap, the only thing we ever got in trouble for (although a lot of trouble for) was the food fight... Funny how the PM didn't seem to mind too much though, lol.

That guy would be Kodak... last I heard from him was flying Navy, but haven't talked to him in a couple years... he got fired that week... He was awesome though...

That's cool about the movie. Would be interesting to see from the sounds of it. I saw Grunt on TV after he moved and was working up top, he was on some show (can't remember which) with someone else promoting Space Camp and stuff... Kinda neato. He was the bestest!
