I have a couple more pieces of advice for you. One before you go you might want to check some military surplus stores or if you can get on a military base go their and get some camoulflage face paint. They do provide it to you at AC but when i went they didnt give you a whole lot to work with when y...

I'd love it if you were right about going to mars in 2015 but i think thats extremely optomistic in my opinion. The current climate at NASA makes me thin it will be much later. Right now NASA isnt even working on really lanning mars missione let alone developing the space craft and equipment to do i...

Its hard for me to pick just one favorite. I've grown up with the shuttle program and of course are probably most familiar with it but being a space history buff i like them all. Mercury was such a pioneering program and their were so many unknowns in those days. We didnt even know if an astronaut c...

Well the only piece of advice i can think of right now concerns escape and evasion. I dont know if they still do it where they did in 96 i heard they moves it but if you do it on the opposite side if the lake from the main AC building watch out for the ravins in the woods its not too big but i found...

I went to Mach 3 then known as Intermediate in July 1998. I honestly never thought i'd go to aviation challenge. The only reason i went was beause i wanted to go back to space camp and couldnt afford Academy Level 2 at the time so i went to Aviation challenge. I thought i'd be way out of my league b...

My first year at camp in 91 I had some great counselors. Their names were Kenn and Page (or Kenn and Bary as we use to call them). Some of you who went to diffrent Space Camp programs through january 99 may have met Kenn. He was a counselor when I went in 91 and 93 and he was transportation director...

Un response to your last message. Its true the counselors are stricter in the younger programs but it is apropriate to kids of that age. I went to camp in 91 and Academy level 1 in 93. Also Aviation Challenge Mach 3 in 96 and Advanced academy in 98. As for the shirts they really arent forced to wear...

Get this board going

I went to Aviation Challenge in July of 1996. I went to what was then called Aviation Challenge Intermediate. A year later they changed to the Mach 3 name. It was my second favorite Space Camp program right behind Advanced Space Academy I've actually been to 4 programs. I had a great team I was ther...
