<sigh of relief>
I must have read some misinformation earlier. I was a little confused why they would remove medical anomolies because they were one of the best parts of the EDM!

The PS track isn't all that bad. I had to go as a PS my second time at camp because that was the only position left. I registered for the session not more than two weeks prior to attending camp, so I was lucky to go at all! When I was a PS there were two or three of us; I forget who was what... We m...

Hey, a school group from my town will be heading off to Space Camp tomorrow as well! They will be Academy kids from Lorne Akins school in Alberta, Canada. Try not to harass them too much for me, will ya? ;) A girl in my karate class told me she was going to Space Camp this next week and I totally we...

One up: I don't suppose you could give us a few hints as to what will be made better or added to the site, could you? ;)

(I'm guessing probably not, but it's worth a try, right?)

I'll go to my WAL-MART while I am in the city tonight to see how much they're asking for it. It will be good to have the DVD version on hand for whem my VHS version degrades to the point where the tracking feature will no longer work. Besides, I am sure they have digitally edited it so it looks a bi...

To meg and other concerned divers: As for diving and fear of water, maybe you should check out your local aquatics centre for a private lesson in deep water activities. I know we offter those at the pool I work at. We do things like jumping off the edge, off the diving board, going down a pole as fa...

I wonder how one would begin to seriously present the idea to a network, any ideas? I sent an e-mail to the programmers at Discovery Channel. Who knows if they will take me seriously though.

It could be an additional Adventure Camp programme to the one you applied to. Mabe they do it once a year? I had never heard of it before, so I thought I would mention it. However, does anyone else see this as a potential idea for Space Camp? Would anyone else collaborate with me to present this ide...

Discovery Kids

If anyone has Discovery Kids channel on their TV, they may have noticed a show called "Adventure Camp" that premiered yesterday at 7:30 PM Mountain time. (I hear it premiered a week earlier in the USA than it did in Canda... but minor details...) It is a show about these kids (about 12-14 ...

MER Mars IMAX

They are also doing something with the MER Mars rovers on IMAX. A group of my friends (from all over the world) went to Cape Canaveral to witness the launch of Opportunity; called MER-B at the time. While they were there they attended a teacher's conference where they were told that several IMAX cam...

New Space Camp Website

Hey look... maybe someone at Space Camp has read Vincent's 10 tips list and is actually doing something about it!?! Anyone who has visited U.S. Space Camp's homepage recently may have noticed a new banner at the top proclaiming a new and improved Space Camp website will be making an appearance somet...

Smiley made a post in another topic a few weeks ago about bringing back the EVA suits to the UAT for the 24-hour EDMs. I cannot wait to go back and do a 24-hour EDM. I will definitely sign up as a MS to get to do the new SCUBA stuff! (However, if pilots get to do SCUBA in the 24-hour EDM, I might tr...

The SCUBA experience at camp is great! They give you a crash course on land for all the what to do/what not to do stuff, as well as how to use everything and what to do if you have problems. They verse you in SCUBA sign language. If you're lucky you might get the SCUBA instructor who uses the "...

I thought the picnic was a great way for the team to spend some time together and just hang around before the end of the week. The hiking trails in the valley were very peaceful and refreshing; a nice change from the confinds of the Space Camp Campus. Things change as time passes; I can live with th...

What's that? Do you mean they do not bring the ASA campers on a picnic any more? Oh please say it isn't so!
