Re: Adult Week Long October 2016

$1,699, same price as last year... I'll be curious to see the schedule and how it compares to last year. Ditto for the August at $1,349...

Re: The Goldbergs

I was married with 2 kids by the time the movie came out. I had no idea about adult Space Camp until I received a trip as an MBA graduation present.

Anyone else watching tonight's episode, I.e., Adam is trying to get his dad to send him to Space Camp (after seeing the movie). :)

Re: Difference Advanced Academy?

Vincent summed it up well. I've never done the weekend program, but I can speak for the current incarnation (or last fall's incarnation) of the week-long program. In a word, it's awesome! Four full days plus a half day on either end of pretty much non-stop activity. We did four one-hour shuttle mis...

Re: Married couples

but I heard something about a form signed by our doctor? Or is that just for the children's camp? Thanks again. P.S. majtom7, from what I've read about the long exhausting days, who knows if we'll have a chance to "get creative" - might have to just look forward to an extra night at the M...

Re: How do we get an Adult weeklong to happen?

The email I got from Terri said that the price tag for the week-long 'train with an astronaut' session will be around $1700 but she wasn't 100% sure of the final amount. I believe that is what they charged last year. My understanding is that they took a loss so it will be interesting to see what th...

Re: How do we get an Adult weeklong to happen?

Hey Everyone, I just got back from my first time, and of course I want more! A bunch of us are chatting on the facebook group. I think a decent amount of people would like a weeklong (5 days?) for adults. Any idea who we can talk to to make this happen, or what minimum amount of people, etc.? Thank...

Re: Question from first time

I did something similar except I had to conduct crew interviews. Since I had captive audience in MOCR, I had as much fun with it as I could :) My favorite was being in MOCR when Dr, Barnhart came in with a TV crew...and the Flight Director asked her what the hell was she doing in her control room? Re: Leadership Changes at Space Camp

VP of Space Camp position closed today. Can't wait to see who they end up with! Darn, I forgot to apply ;) It looks like all positions are closed. Could that be an indication that they had replacements in mind? or a need for speed to get someone in those seats ASAP? I tend to believe the former.

I'll be there in a couple of weeks! Used a $10.65 refundable if you return within 90 minutes shopping pass today to go to the Space Shop. It was available at Information. Got a couple of things, put a few back such as a shirt showing an orbiter flying with the tailcone and Orion with the Mickey Mou...
