It's funny you made this comment now. I've just heard that the logo, slightly tweaked, has been approved to replace the old logo.

Last I checked (though it's been a while), the jackets the counselors wear are not the same ones sold in the gift shop.

I'll say finally that, at the very least, they should use it for the Space Camp for Educators program. I think it works well for that program as well.

What I like about your logo though is, if nothing else (and it's more than that), it's proof that it is absolutely possible to make a logo that isn't like the current one work!

Personally, if the logo is to change, I'd consider consulting an ad agency to do the re-branding.

Whatever they change it to needs to be at least as iconic as what came before.

That's an incredibly tall order.

Keep in mind, it's entirely possible they aren't switching the logo at all in the near future, or this was just something they were kicking around.
