Also... I'm pretty sure that we survived out interesting landing... it was better than the one that the pilot of my flight home did, but thats another story...

I know what you mean! for me, that's the second week of summer, just enough time to get used to sleeping in! Oh well... SA is worth it! The only thing about looking forward to something all summer is that once you get to it, you are struck with the horrible realization that: OH NO! SUMMER'S OVER! 8O !

I wish I could get my team's mission patch! It was awesome, but it didn't win the contest, so it's not on spacecamp.com

June 22! 6 days, and I am counting

I was pilot in one of my missions. There were A LOT of buttons, oh and we crashed the shuttle. We were trying to land manally (not sure if that is usually the case) but we both lost control of the shuttle. I think it was switching control from the commander to the pilot and back. Eventually we lande...

I've only been in Hab 1, but it was great! All moth before I went I was hoping to get Hab 1. Only problem, you can't get a good cell phone signal in your room, and they're a little too strict about going to a different level than yours. My little group was just trying to pay each other back for mone...

Last year at 6 day SA, I brought a backpack aound the USSRC with me with no problems. This year I am debating wheter or not to bring one of those drawstring athletic backpacks for Logbook, water bottle, Etc. (also as my carry on bag for flight). Does 8 day do anyhting other that 6 day that would kee...

I never had a problem with councilors and cell phones. I called home almost every night on mine in the hallway of hab1 because the signal sucks in the rooms. (metal rooms and cell phones don't mix)
