There is a Marriott hotel located right next door to Space Camp, so you won't have to go far to get to camp if you stay there on your first night in Huntsville. Probably a taxi would be the best way to get to the hotel. I believe people said the taxi from the airport to camp was $15-$20. As for gett...

Well, when I went in 1997, one of the guys had a huge crush on a girl named Anne. So, he walked around singing "I Want Candy" but changed the words to "I Want Annie". He was even singing it over the system during our EDM.

I would want a party outdoors (weather permitting) under Pathfinder, with an open house of the USSRC and open sims on the training center floor. A barbecue sounds good to me, with plenty of food and beverages (special beverages for people of legal age), even if alcoholic beverages aren't included in...

I personally wouldn't like an all-girls camp week, maybe because I'm such a big tomboy and I've always gotten along better with guys. I think it brings more diversity into the program. Gender specific advertising doesn't really seem right to me, since the camps are co-ed. I don't know why they would...

Well, since the first two times I went to Space Camp while in high school, I knew I wanted to fly, so I attended Lewis University as a Flight Management major. The cost was way too high for flying lessons...my parents couldn't afford it and the school refused to sign for me to get more loans towards...

I'm jealous! I'm sure you'll have a great time. What a great birthday present! If you haven't been for a visit, you're in for a surprise. There have been lots of changes. I hadn't been to Huntsville between 1998 and 2007 and there were plenty of changes. I went back down in February 2008 to see the ...

Maybe one morning I'll wake up and find $42 million laying outside my apartment door and I can buy one for an educational facility close to me.

I'm sure you'll have a great time. I haven't done the adult 8 day program, but I have done the adult 4 day program and the youth 6 day ASA program. I've always had a great time. Adults get more freedom, which I did enjoy (there was a point during my weekend when I couldn't take another minute sittin...

My mother, sister, and brother were able to attend my graduation ceremonies when I attended ASA. We were lucky that I had an aunt that lived about four hours away that my family could stay with while I was at ASA. I was always glad to be able to share some of my experiences with my family.

The most recent dream I had about Space Camp was about a month or so ago, which was after I started going out with someone I met at Alumni Camp in June 2007. But I had a dream that I was at an alumni camp, but many of the international people that I had met during International Camp, in July 1997, h...

I also saw that on the website and I asked my boyfriend who worked at Space Camp last summer about it, and he said that it was true. I never knew that either, and I think back to camp. I'm 5'4" and there have always been people shorter than me on the MAT.

Rest time? I don't remember us getting much rest time as teenagers Lisa. At least in my room we didnt. Usually bed time was around 11 but we didn't fall asleep till 1am or so. then it was up at 6. Last year's alumni camp I felt we may have had more rest. Then again it could be because i was staying...

I remember how bad it looked when I was down in Huntsville in February, and this is a major improvement. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, and now it looks almost brand new.
