ASA
I'm hoping to go to ASA for a few weeks this year so can try the other tracks. I'm also hoping to win the lottery.

Video
You can see the footage of the suspect ET insulation from NASA's Ice and Debris team through KSC's PAO. I'm sure you've seen it on TV, but this is easier becuase you can control it yourself and go frame by frame. Here's the link:

And then there were three...
I still can't believe that their still doing news coverage of the event. They've run out of things to say, and I'd think that their mouths would be dry from repeating things over and over again. The graphics still say 'breaking news', too. Its terrible that such a successful mission had to end in th...

homepage
I didn't see the homepage until Kristina mentioned it. I checked it out. Very fitting.
I'm still kinda in awe over what happened. I don't believe it.

ISS
The fleet will probably be grounded for a while. The ISS crew can survive for a while, and I'm not sure what the schedule of Russian launches is. They could be bringing supplies. If the ISS crew needs to, they can always use the Russian Soyez spacecraft to get home.

Nobody cares until something goes wrong...
Now, the news stations are showing photos of and reading short bios of the crew of 107. Nobody cares until something goes wrong. Before the incident, they got just a blurb on the news, if anything (excluding NASA TV). Ilan got the most press, of course. Suddenly now, everyone is interested. http://w...

NASA websites
NASA websites are loading VERY, VERY slowly, due, I'm sure, to the large amount of traffic they are probably getting, and the freqguent updates they are making.

What happened?
What the f*%$ went wrong? I'm gonna guess that they lost control and just broke up. Was is pilot error? Security breech, someone trying to kill Ilan Ramon? Did something just go wrong?
Mission control is so calm. We've now lost 2/5ths of our shuttle fleet. I just don't know what to say.

Columbia
I'm watching Columbia's landing. Seeing multiple trails of smoke. Looks like its breaking up. Not looking good. I really hope that we don't have yet another sad day in space history.

It was kinda ironic. Gus certainly knew the risks. The sad/stupid thing is that he and his crewmates died during a simple test . They were just a few hundred feet off the ground. The astronauts didn't like the Apollo spacecraft at all (they didn't think it was safe enough), but I'm sure he wan't exp...

http://www-pao.ksc.nasa.gov/kscpao/chron/images/sts51l.gif Space travel is a dangerous business. The public thinks of shuttle launches as routine. As soon as NASA starts thinking the same way, things like this happen. We can't forget easily avoidable incidents like these. They remind us of the risk...

I dunno
I can't see them. Can anyone else? When I go the photos individually, they work, but I don't understand why they aren't visable above. I used the proper img tag.
