It's hard to belive I've been gone from AC for 18 months now. Especially since I spent the better part of 5 years as a counselor at AC and the other programs. Since getting my degree I've become a counselor at a residential treatment center for adolescent males with sexual & behavioral disorder...

It's now been over 2 months since we lost Jenie, and I know many of us still feel her absence. She was an amazing person. I found some pictures of her with our team on the Sci-Vis website from last fall. I miss her still.

Several of squadron names you mentioned are no longer in use at AC... Most commonly used are the Jolly Rogers, Pukin' Dogs, and Silver Eagles. No particular reason those are used over others... As Shrek said Mach3's use primarily the F-18 hornets for their training & missions, though the simulat...

Occassionally someone with just one year of college can become a counsellor depending on experiance working with kids. Being a Camp veteran also helps.

Reports from the front

Have just come off of 1 month in the field without a break(1 week retraining, 3 Mach2 Teams, 1 Pilot/Co-pilot Team). Exaustion is common, but morale is still high. R&R on Wednsday. Over.

Space Campers will never understand what we are talking about here unless you also have gone to AC. I know there is a forum for Space Campers why not stop reading the craziness from AC and go there? This forums area is called the Barracks for a reason. And trust me AC .. is not a hyped up military ...
