Most of Aviation Challenge could use some work. I was there for the Open House a couple of weeks ago, and the buildings and aircraft (save for the Sea Sprite, which had been rather nicely repainted) were in bad shape.
As to the bubble replacement, a hangar diorama would be cool.

I remember one of the guys in our group thought he would be different and glue the fins on his rocket without any rhyme or reason. At the time of launch, I hid behind the barrier, knowing exactly what was going to happen. It took off slowly (the fins on the first stage were on correctly) and started...

When I got back to the Davidson, I was disappointed to find my favorite new exhibit, the Voyage To The Moon simulator roped off and back under construction. I guess when I got to play around on it yesterday it wasn't quite ready yet. I should have known something was up when I noticed that the wind...

I attended one of the gas generator tests back in January. It was really great to see the old hardware up and running again.

It was pretty good; there was some tough competition.
Though, the best part for me was being on NASA TV while playing trombone and wearing a Captain America mask (long story).
