Wow... you think 60 is cold?! Its at 0 rite now (in Iowa), which is not the coldest it's been.. and it can snow 3 feet and they won't call off school as long as the roads have been cleared by 4:30 am.... snow days... i wish...

I just went to camp (Aug 2-8) and there were only about 3 people in all the teams that had gone before... usually there are a couple people that have gone before, but this time I was the only one on my team... It does make it kind of difficult that no one has any clue what they're doing...

I love the medical anomalies... I just got back from camp and during the EDM, while outside doing the EVA, there was a meteor shower and my partner and I were knocked unconscious... the payload specialists had to come out and drag us back in... then we got the benes... after they figured out to give...

Brent was my counselor that week! It was hilarious!!! Brent was bored and didn't want to to do the daily review thing. so when drea left the room (there were 2 teams there) he shoved us all into the flight suit storage room in hab2... when drea got back she freaked out when she saw no one was there....

one year, the whole week, our goal was to steal all of the covers from the team book that the counselors carry... it had the team name and a picture of the person.. and anyways at graduation when they called the team up, we would hold up their team sign... it was fun cuz everyone was trying to steal...

did you guys do the great tower of empty orange juices? I swear my team, one morning, drank like a hundred orange juices for the simple pleasure of making them into a pyramid... and then throw them away... and then go to the multi-axis trainer... which sucked cuz everyone was too full of juice to go...

Does anybody know much about University of Alabama in Hunstville? I'm looking at colleges and I didn't know if it's a good school for engineering. It would be close to camp- which is good to work there as a counselor - and it's close to Marshall. But does anyone go there or have info? Thanks.

it was- tony was the best counselor... at least that i've had. he was really cool- he let us go in the multi axis trainer for like 5 mins each cuz he didn't want to go to a lecture... and we'd blow off stuff to do the space shot and stuff.. that was a fun week

a couple years ago, the week i went it rained almost every day. and we had a really cool counselor, tony, and we all got soaking wet and he put his hair in a mohawk and declared that the next day would be mohawk day and all the guys should put their hair in mohawks and girls would put pony tails on ...

I wasn't there the extra day.... that would've been fun. that week was a blast. but the panama guys sang the entire time... we ended up calling them menudo. and at the end of the week i had to fill out alberto's eval (b/c he couldn't write in english) and his comment for improving camp- "boys a...

During the EDM, the Panama guys sang "in the jungle" for at least an hour straight. And then they found a cd player and started singing and dancing to their spanish music... that was a long mission...

Tony (Mario) is the best counselor ever... he is so funny! Other good (ASA)ones are Brent Wong and Mike Baldwin... they were really cool too. All the counselors were awesome. They made the camp really fun. Except the scuba guy cyclopes... he was scary!
