i know it is a silly idea to leave the uh.. *cough*beautiful*cough* city of troy. i think i will miss the horrible, cold, windy, snowy nights in my drafty, poorly heated, 100 year old apartment, the most :-P

I am moving to Houston at the end of the summer, and it took a little begging.. but I think I finally convinced my boyfriend to stop in Huntsville on the way! We have to drive through Alabama anyway, why not take a little detour :-P

if you ask my freinds from camp, they can probably all tell you that i spent waaay too much time watching A Time for Courage. i think it would be fun if they had a special screening with Jan Davis doing a live introduction!

I think a fun solution to the counselor vs camper age question would be to have alumni counselors come as well!

didn't you love having a small team!? i thought it was great, because i was able to become closer with my teammates and we had more group bonding. on the other side.. having a large team is great too, because those were always the weeks that i walked away with more friends!

I was the only chick on my team one year... that was interesting. it was so funny.. i never would have thought going in to it that there would have been only 7 machIII kids that week (it was a 2 day school week where i lived), and then when i...

The only thing i didn't really love about the dorms at AC, was that the walls were not so thick (and if i recall, there may have been a small gap where the wall meets the ceiling).. and the mach I and II girls in the bay nextdoor were always keeping us up.

i was there in 97 and we didn't do PT then, either. i remember being kind of sad, because i had received a video a few years earlier explaining the programs, and the section about AC showed kids doing jumping jacks (if my memory serves me correctly) and spoke about their daily morning workout.
