I've been trying to talk my husband into a trip to the USSRC, but he doesn't want to go... Claims he spends too much time with that kind of stuff... I guess that's what being in the Air Force will do to you. It's cool to see how everyone's lives have turned out. I'm totally sucking at this wife stuf...

Those who've grown up... where are you now?

Okay, so I know I have graduated from college and gotten married since going to camp. I also am pregnant with my first child and settling into real life and buying our first home... Where is everyone else at now in their lives? I thought it may be fun to share.

Does that mean they will go back to some of the old ways prior to 2000... Camp just kind of got tame (I can't think of a better term to use without getting rude...) when it took out a lot of the military aspects of Aviation Challenge training... HELLO!!! Fighter pilots are in the military... They ar...

Any one know of a couple big titles for aerospace history? I am doing my final history theory paper (20 pages) analyzing 6 books that are on aerospace history, any help from people who know a lot about this is much appreciated, I was going to focus on the cold war aspect but haven't found 6 books on...

Hm... My top choices: 1. USSRC (of course) 2. Kennedy Space Center (I live 2 hrs from it) 3. Museum of Science and Industry (Tampa and Chicago) 4. Museum of Naval Aviation (Pensacola, I love sitting in the Blue Angel) 5. Smithsonian Air and Space (going in July) 6. White Sands Missile Range (it was ...

So summer of riding Space Shot a million times in a row brings back fond memories... but this is freaky. All though I guess Space shot shoots up and this drops down.

My Adult Academy group went out drinking a few times. It was cool I guess, minus me not being quite 21 yet. Oopsies. We had a kid down at AC break their collar bone, it was a guy... Also had a girl freak out and go home after a day. Amusing.

Wow... that's cool they started drill competitions again. I remember those. I was never very good. I am too old for AC now and only can do the adult one... But I'm hoping it will still be around 15 years from now so I can send my own kids eventually. I think the ground military stuff is important......

I don't get why people make this big deal about AC and how military is. It's gone so civilian over the last 7 years or so anyways. No more morning PT, no more true T-Ops... and I know the list goes on. One thing in my opinion is that most shuttle pilots are military pilots, so that connects it someh...

AC rocks my socks... Maybe you should give it a try. I've been to Space Camp, Academy, Adult Academy, and did AC tons of times... There are some counselors who were cross overs from Space Camp (Pyro comes to mind)... Maybe you'll like it. :)
