Wow, I am jealous. I aged out and then figured I wouldn't be back till I was like 21. Now 21 has come (and will be going soon) and college is too crazy for me to go back. :( But, have tons of fun for all of us :)

Graduation

It doesn't get much better after college. I am just glad that I am going 4.5 years. All my peers are busy finding jobs or applying to Grad school. They are all taking the GRE or MCATs which are even less fun than the SATs and ACTs.

Ok, so I haven't been here in a while and have been really out of the loop. But I wanted to say that I love the new site. Great job Vince.

Actually, the residentual half is more than just working in a lab. You attend a lecture series at the college and take math classes. You go on 'enriching' field trips on the weekend. You also take a computer class and make a webpage at the end of you time at the program. There is also a video confre...

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who misses the old books.

But despite popular belief, some campers, namely me, would read those manuals and take notes in them. The new ones are impossible to use and are just boring.

Camper Books

What does everyone think of the changes in the camper books. I was taking a look at mine over break and am amazed at all the changes (mostly thining) that has happened over the last 5 years. I hear that the really old books used to be the Throttle Up book.

I have to admitt I am really bad about keeping in touch, but all my groups have really bonded. This forum really helps me stay on the communication map. At least now I can find out most people's status.

BTW, if anyone thinks I have forgotten them, email me. Its just that I am absent minded.

I plan to be an astronaut and have been working toward that goal for 6 years now. My hope is to work on the ISS, but I would do anything NASA asked.

PAO is a very important job in real life, its just at camp...well its not quite the same. In the edm you have about an hour and a half of reading and the rest is just down time. On the upside, if you pay attention you can avert most problems and solve all the others first. But, its only truely borin...

I think for all of us, this is a reminder of what our dreams can cost. If you are not willing to pay the price and take the risk, dont dare to dream so high. This is a message that we as a country and as a world seem to forget on a regular basis. War, tradegety and death serve as a reminder that our...

I don't know about the rest of you, but to me all the risks are definitly worth the possible reward. I am very open about wanting to be an astronaut and when I tell most people the first question I get is ''what if you were in an accident like challenger?". I always say that at least I would ha...
