Yeah, I think the emergency plan is to dock Discovery with the space station and have Atlantis follow a month later and pick them up. If the Soyuz only holds three, that could explain why that idea wouldn't work . Thanks!

There's an article in today's USA Today that talks about getting Atlantis up-to-speed in order to launch a rescue mission in case something happens to Discovery. If launching Atlantis would cripple the Shuttle program (according to the article), why couldn't they use a Soyuz rocket to bring them bac...

Do they still have an MCI card machine in the Space Center? (I think it was somewhere near the food court...) It's not the cheapest way to go, but in the event that you can't bring a cell phone, you don't have to hunt all over kingdom come to find an MCI card. Personally, I went the cell phone route...
