Where is everyone now?

Thanks to Vincent I am back into this account after a twelve year absence. What a time capsule. The Barracks seem to have been vacated years ago, but if you do happen to see this, I'm curious what all the old timers are up to now.

I check up on this place every once in a while. For the time being I'm out in San Diego on my summer cruise with the Navy doing some pretty awesome stuff...

tennisrox014: Go Navy! I am ex-Navy, but my job then was shooting down aircraft. That was fun! hehehe. Actually, I only got the chance to shoot down drones. Those are no fun because they are too easy. I did get to manually fire the Phalanx, or CIWS (Close In Weapons System.) If you have never seen ...

Ummm... I'm not sure where you got that info, but the JSF is being developed for the U.S... it may be sold to other countries as well, but it is definitely being developed for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps... I think the Air Force might be getting it too, but I'm not sure that will end up happening...

hey!

Sorry for my absence everyone, but life is very busy at the moment! Anyways, I would be very interested to hear more about the JSF! I'm Navy ROTC, and will be comissioned in spring of 2010, and as of now, am in line to go pilot or NFO.

I'm working on my pilot's license right now! Jagsvolleyball here at hab1 is also working on her pilot's license.

I flew in a 172 w/a glass cockpit the other day!

My sister and I are roadtripping down to the dance, but thats all I'll be able to go to until we go to adult AC in late August. We're tennis instructors and can't miss too much work, so we basically are driving down to Huntsville and the turning back. It should be fun though.

I really like area 51. To be honest, I'm not sure I'd go to camp if I knew it was going to be ALL space or aviation training.

yeah, I know about that policy. I was signed up to go to xmas camp, and it almost didn't happen even though I was 18. But I totally agree with the policy, I definitely felt like at the maturity level I was at, adult camp would have been enjoyable.
