I have only been to the summer ones, but the off season sounds neat. We talked about going for spring break once but it didn't work out... My boyfriend has only been during the school year. I also have always wanted to go to the christmas one that would be sweet.

Except I know I've seen pictures of *real* female astronauts taken in the 80's where they have the vector/meatball logo on their jackets. I've heard they stopped using the vector before, but that doesn't explain why they still wore them in those photographs...

I learned after my first trip to camp that trying to talk to a school about anything to do with space can be brutal. I came back and talked to my school board as an 8th grader and even they were a little unappreciative to hear my speech. Then in my sophmore year i tried to do a presentation on the ...

Actually, the Apollo missions were carried out with only slightly more money (in today's dollars) than the NASA of today. The difference is how they used it. If we follow the Mars Direct plan (which it doesn't look like we are, but I'm just putting ideas out there), then a manned mission to Mars cou...

I attended catholic school for a year and a half, and during that time I had a very talented religion teacher. She told us that the Genesis story was not necessarily true, and that the story of Creation and Adam and Eve were oral tradition handed down by the Jews, the same as the Ancient Greeks and ...

Coke or Pepsi??

All right. Every time I've been to space camp, they go to great lengths to tell us that Coke is the official soft drink of NASA, nay, Coke is the official EVERYTHING of NASA, and all other brand name products, especially other soft drinks, are the work of satan and have no place in the space program...
