Re: Looking for old teammates
I want to put a Camper Finder joke in here but I don't think anyone would get it! Mission Patch and Facebook stalking is a good idea!

Re: Where the heck is this?
Good call, likely. It is similar to Endeavour at Canada (picture attached) but I can't tell from the surroundings if it could be the same place. I say similar because they had the canadaarm and the cargo bay. I know most everyone changed the name from Columbia to something else after the accident.

Re: Where the heck is this?
Not Turkey for sure. For awhile the only overseas camp that had the license for Space Academy was Canada (they license, or at least did, Camp/Academy/ASA separate). So my guess is either Canada, or an old picture of the California or Florida locations?

Re: Space Camp Turkey
Turmoil in the region has hurt attendance significantly and the coup caused a lot of foreign groups to cancel. Usually when turmoil in the region happens they focus heavily on their Turkish program and when things calm down try to again focus on the international program. Two goals of SCT really, on...

Re: Possible New Space Camp Logo
I don't hate it... But I don't love it. I'm glad it resembles the old logo so much but agree the astronaut man could be better.
Maybe it's just nostalgia but I don't want a big change!

Definitely sad to see the name badges go! They were a point of pride to wear around! Although probably not a great decision cost wise, I wish they had both. The wristbands for medicine/money, but the name badges to serve their original purpose, tell a person's name! Ha-deo-Tacha-Meany. I have no ide...

I know Space Camp Turkey has a best mission award that uses a similar patch, I believe Space Camp California did as well. They give awards for best mission, best mars colony, and best mission patch. Oddly, they don't give wings but give a pin to each graduate. The wings were too costly to produce in...

Sorry for the delay, I can't find my camera's USB cord, I will go buy a new one this weekend if tearing through my apartment doesn't do it. I want to go to Belgium next since it's the only Space Camp I know that is real besides the ones I have gone to. I think Space Camp Italy has been in constructi...

Space Camp Japan
I write to you from Fukuoka, Japan, home of Space World, the former home of Space Camp Japan! I went around Space World today looking for any sign that a Space Camp was still there. I found a very large and empty training center, with classrooms and alot of room for the MATs and orbiters that once w...
